The Founder
Eileen Boyce founded Boyce Communications Group after spending more than a dozen years in the media, corporate communications and public affairs worlds. Eileen brings extensive experience and senior-level attention to every project. There is not a communications challenge she has not tackled.
Eileen has supported clients in nearly every industry, from real estate and finance to manufacturing and healthcare. Her diverse roster of past and current clients includes ADM, Coachella Music + Arts Festival, Constellation Energy, Eastman Chemical Company, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fifth Third Bank, Leucadia, Lollapalooza, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Owens Corning, to name a few.
Eileen determines, develops and drives the implementation of complex communications strategies. This includes creating messages, strategic planning documents and media materials to support complex issues and campaigns, as well as incorporating social networks, online materials and videos to effectively convey and drive messages. She has developed integrated plans to move complex policy issues, public campaigns, product rollouts and financial events through legislative and regulatory phases to successful implementation for major corporations, small businesses, interest groups and public agencies. Among her accomplishments include leading the first-ever NYSE listing for a Brazilian homebuilder.
Eileen has a particular niche in developing and implementing crisis communications response strategies for a wide range of issues. She helped a leading regional department store deal with the immediate aftermath of one of the worst instances of workplace violence in U.S. history and has served as the project lead for crisis communications planning and management of the nation’s two largest music festivals – Coachella and Lollapalooza. Eileen leads scenario planning programs to identify and outline potential vulnerabilities for all types of clients. She also develops and leads media training sessions to prepare senior executives to respond to various levels of crises and appropriately address all relevant stakeholders, from media and staff to elected officials and community leaders.
As a former journalist, Eileen understands the intricacies of the newsroom and the changing landscape of today’s news cycle. She has developed and led media relations strategies and campaigns to secure positive and in-depth coverage of complex issues and projects. Working directly with reporters at national and local news outlets, she has secured relevant clips in major outlets and blogs, including The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business and DNAInfo.com. Eileen utilizes social networks and videos, as well as tailored events, to support and complement media outreach efforts.
